《Sing for china》是由摩登天空和美国公益组织“中国艾滋病孤儿基金会”（CAOF）合作的一项公益计划，旨在为中国的艾滋病孤儿提供教育、宣传、医疗以及更多协助。《Sing For China》合辑是一项跨越国界的合作，是一次文化影响社会的公益之举，这张3CD合辑唱片历时两年时间制作完成，集结了Yoko Ono、Deerhoof、Cold Cut、Ratatat、The Apples In Stereo、新裤子、后海大鲨鱼等44组全球不同国家的著名摇滚、电子音乐家跨国界合作。而专辑所得收入将全部捐献给“中国艾滋病孤儿基金会”。
